Drink David Nicholson neat or on the rocks and it tells a story. Any bourbon more than 170 years old would. But add a few complementary ingredients to create simple bourbon cocktail recipes like these, and that story becomes even sweeter – or spicier.



Whiskey Sour
INGREDIENTS
2 ounces David Nicholson 1843
.75 ounce lemon juice
.75 simple syrup
Optional: 1 egg white
.75 ounce lemon juice
.75 simple syrup
Optional: 1 egg white
Directions
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a coupe glass. Optional: add egg white to the shaker with the other ingredients for a frothy finish. Also optional: garnish with a cherry and lemon wedge.
